DONALD BOUNDS

Donald Leo "Don" Bounds, 87, of Texarkana, Texas, died Monday, Nov. 12, 2018, in a local hospital. Mr. Bounds was born Feb. 15, 1931, in Denver, Colo. He was retired owner of Bounds Lawn Care, a member of Trinity Troopers Senior Choir, Loving Friends Sunday school class and Trinity Baptist Church. He also was a Korean War Marine veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Bounds; and two daughters, Donna Lea Bounds Calloway and Mary Beth Bounds McVay. Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, Clyde and Dianne Bounds and Morris Bounds; one daughter, Candace Bounds; one brother and sister-in-law, Leo Jr. and Yoli Bounds of Prescott, Ariz.; eight grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11:30 a.m. today at Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas, with the Rev. Wallace Edgar officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
