LESTER HOWELL

ATLANTA, Texas—Lester Wayne Howell, 80, of Omaha, Texas, died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2018, in a Mount Pleasant, Texas hospital. Mr. Howell was born Dec. 22, 1937, in Atlanta. He was retired from Cooper Tire and Rubber Co., a Baptist and an Air Force veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Howell. Survivors include his wife, Fonda Auldridge of Omaha; one son and daughter-in-law, Lester David and Carol Howell of Texarkana; two grandchildren, David W. Howell of Fouke, Ark., and Meagon Glover of Texarkana; five great-grandchildren, Tyler Howell, Dylan Howell, Jacob Howell, Emily Glover and Summer Glover; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Hanner Funeral Service with Gary Terry officiating. Burial will be in Shady Dale Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
