RUTH SELLERS

Lawania Ruth Sellers, 79, of Texarkana, Ark., died Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2018, in a local hospice. Mrs. Sellers was born June 23, 1939, in Texarkana, Texas. She was a retired business owner, a bookkeeper and a member of Hickory Street Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Wayne Sellers. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Bryan and Christi Sellers of Texarkana; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Dewanda Smith, Sheila and Ricky Patterson and Regina and David Jeane of Texarkana; three grandchildren, Samone Sellers, Mason Sellers and Morgan Sellers of Texarkana; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Memorial Gardens Cemetery with the Rev. George Goynes officiating. Burial will be under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas.
