ELMER CARR SR.

DeKALB, Texas—Elmer Dale Carr Sr., 70, of DeKalb died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2018. Mr. Carr was born July 27, 1948, in Odessa, Texas. He was a camp ground manager and elder with Community of Christ, an electrician and an utilities manager with DeKalb. Survivors include his wife, Pamela; two sons, Elmer Dale Carr Jr. and William Jefferson Carr; one daughter-in-law, Amy; four grandchildren, Christiana Nikole, Avery Elizabeth, Liam Alexander and Leihm Earnest; one great-grandson, Jacob Lee; two nephews; and a number of other relatives. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Bates Family Funeral Home with Jeff Carr officiating. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Texarkana, 2407 Galleria Oaks, Texarkana, TX 75503.
