Tommy Riggins

Thomas "Tommy" Ogene Riggins, age 68, of Clarksville, Arkansas, formerly of Texarkana, Arkansas died Tuesday, November 27, 2018, at his home surrounded by family after a brief battle with cancer. He was born August 18, 1950, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to the late Fred Raymond and Bernice Boldon Riggins. He was an avid fisherman who loved kayaking various rivers and spending time with his family. He worked hard to give his family a wonderful life and after 30 years in sales he retired and called everyday "Saturday". Survivors include his wife, Beverly Curtis Riggins of Clarksville; two daughters, Whitney Riggins Lindsey and husband Jeremy of Texarkana, Arkansas, Lindsey Riggins Browning and husband Chris of Benton; two stepchildren, Angie Dunkum (Michael Luedecke) of Gentry and Alan Dunkum of Fayetteville; two sisters, Bonnie Smith of Washington, Sue Maupin and husband Bill of North Little Rock. He is survived by his greatest treasures who called him Big Daddy, his beloved six grandchildren, Baylee Lindsey, Lani Beth Lindsey, Mollie Kate Browning, Marshall Thomas Browning, Macyn Luedecke, Jordyn Luedecke. He is also survived by a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews. He often said he was a lucky man to have been given the friendships he had in his life. Memorial services will be held at 4:00 P.M. Saturday, December 1, 2018, at Chapelwood Funeral Home in Texarkana with Bro. Everette Geis Jr. officiating. Visitation will be immediately following the service. Arrangements are under the direction of Cornwell Funeral Home of Dardanelle and Chapelwood Funeral Home of Texarkana, Texas.
