ASHDOWN, Ark.—Billy Ray "Cotton" Brown, 77, of Ashdown died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2018, in a local nursing home. Mr. Brown was born July 27, 1941, in Arden, Ark. Survivors include his wife, Melba Brown of Ashdown; two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Rick Teehee of Ashdown and Paula and Cliff Fitch of Azle, Texas; three brothers, Robbie Brown, Harold Brown and Danny Brown; one sister, Diane McLarty; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Madden Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
