EUNICE TRAVIS

ATLANTA, Texas—Eunice Peacock Travis, 96, of Atlanta died Monday, Nov. 26, 2018, in a local nursing home. Mrs. Travis was born Sept. 17, 1922, in Bivins, Texas. She was retired from Crane Co., Fort Worth, Texas, and a member of McLeod Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert B. Travis; and two sons, Herbert R. Travis and Robert C. Travis. Survivors include five grandchildren, Michael Travis, Rebecca Travis, Rachael Reynolds, Shawna Travis and Kelly Cook; two nephews, Jimmy Peacock and Jerry Peacock of Bivins; three nieces, Louise Goodnow and Barbara Weems of Atlanta and Vicki Keith of Bivins; 12 greatnieces and greatnephews; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Hanner Funeral Service with Dale Alexander and Robert Wall officiating. Burial will be in Bourland Cemetery, Keller, Texas.
