NEW BOSTON, Texas—Hazel Jeanette Garrett, 78, of New Boston died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2018, at her home. Mrs. Garrett was born June 24, 1940. She was retired from Bowie County Clerk's Office and a member of Christian Fellowship, New Boston. Survivors include her husband, Joyce Garrett of New Boston; one daughter and son-in-law, Jessica and Billy Lewis of New Boston; two sons and daughters-in-law, Boyd Wayne and Karen Garrett of DeKalb, Texas, and Joyce Clay and Tressa Garrett of New Boston; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 10 a.m. today at Bates-Rolf Funeral Home. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. Online registration is at batesrolffuneralhome.com.
