JERRY OBENOSKEY

DeKALB, Texas—Jerry Brian Obenoskey, 43, of DeKalb died Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2018, in a Texarkana, Texas, hospital. Mr. Obenoskey was born April 20, 1975, in Naples, Texas. He was a grocery clerk and a member of West Side Missionary Baptist Church, New Boston, Texas. Survivors include one sister and brother-in-law, Toya and Chad Whitecotton of DeKalb; one aunt, Sue Martinez of DeKalb; one nephew, Daniel Whitecotton of DeKalb; one niece, Rhealyn Reagan of Mount Vernon, Texas; and a number of other relatives. Graveside memorial services will be 4 p.m. Thursday at Wards Creek Cemetery with the Rev. Steve Minter officiating. Burial will be under direction of Bates Family Funeral Home.
