CHARLOTTE WHATLEY

Charlotte Whatley, 89, of Texarkana, Texas, died Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2018, in a local nursing home. Mrs. Whatley was born Dec. 21, 1928, in Nashville, Ark. She was a homemaker and a member of Northern Hills Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bob" Whatley. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Robert Sedgass of Texarkana; one son and daughter-in-law, David and Carla Whatley of Texarkana; two sisters, Jeanette Majors of North Richland Hills, Texas, and Mary Alice Sinn of Jacksonville, Fla.; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Hillcrest Memorial Park with the Rev. John Webb officiating. Burial will be under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas.
