BILLY HACKETT

Billy Eugene Hackett, 65, of Texarkana, Texas, died Friday, Oct. 5, 2018, in a local hospital. Mr. Hackett was born Oct. 17, 1952, in Texarkana. He was employed with DLA and formerly employed with Parwin Chemical. Survivors include his wife, Suzanne Hackett; two daughters, Lena Anderson and Lindsey Watson; one stepson, Jason Leonard; two brothers, David Hackett and Kenneth Hackett; two sisters, Joyce Carson and Kathy Zwirnmann; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at St. James Episcopal Church with the Rev. Douglas Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery under direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home. Visitation will be 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
