LOIS MORRIS

Lois V. Stinson Morris, 90, of Texarkana, Texas, died Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2018, in a local hospital. Mrs. Morris was born Aug. 3, 1928, in Pleasant Hill community, Okla. She was retired from City of Hooks and a member of First Church of the Nazarene. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Morris. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Jeanna Morris of Texarkana; one daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Bill Creighton of Madison, Ala.; one sister, Evelyn Jackson of Texarkana; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at First Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Chris Sutherland officiating. Private burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery under direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
