Richard Payne

HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas—Richard Payne, 78, of Hughes Springs died Sunday, Oct. 7, 2018, at his home. Mr. Payne was born May 15, 1940, in Shamrock, Texas. He was a homebuilder and a member of Cross Roads Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Sharon White Payne; four children and three spouses, Richard II and Brenda Payne, Kimberly and Shane Camp, David and Tara Payne and Dennis Payne; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. A private family burial will be at Concord Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
