William Leon Sanders

William Leon Sanders, 68, of Texarkana, Texas, died Friday, Oct. 5, 2018, at his home. Mr. Sanders was born Nov. 16, 1949, in Texarkana, Texas. He was self-employed and a Vietnam War Navy veteran. He was preceded in death by one son, Kelley Sanders. Survivors include his wife, Melissa Sanders of Texarkana; four sons and two daughters-in-law, Christopher and Cindy Sanders of Virginia, Billy Sanders and Jonathon Sanders of Texarkana and Adam and Donna Sanders of Broken Arrow, Okla.; one daughter, Christina Sanders of Texarkana; one brother-in-law, Michael Tidwell; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Chapelwood Funeral Home with Thomas Josserand officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens.
