CHARLENE SCROGGINS

HOPE, Ark.—Charlene Scroggins, 66, of Nashville, Ark., died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2018. Mrs. Scroggins was born Jan. 30, 1952, in Nashville. She was a Director of Nursing, RN, LPN and CNA with Howard County Health Unit, Howard County Memorial Hospital, Benson's Nursing Home, and St. Michael in Texarkana and a member of Voices of Faith, New Addition Community Choir and Free Christian Zion Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Scroggins Sr. Survivors include three children and one spouse, Nichelle and Donald Wright of Fort Worth, Texas, Ronald Scroggins Jr. of Dallas, Texas, and James Delarosa of Nashville; two sisters, Dorothy Fae and Gwendolyn Powell of Columbus, Ark.; three brothers, Charles Marshall of Nashville and Dwayne Scott and Andrea Porter of Columbus; three stepdaughters; five grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Maranatha Baptist Church, Nashville, under direction of Hicks Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
