BETTY BROWN

Betty Brown, 83, of Red Lick, Texas, died Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2018, in a local nursing home. Mrs. Brown was born March 20, 1935, in Texarkana, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of Red Lick First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Brown. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Kim and David Huddleston of Red Lick; one son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Elizabeth Brown of Rogers, Ark.; six grandchildren, Jeremy Huddleston, Jamie Huddleston, Amie Allen, Daniel Brown, Mitchell Brown and Becca Arnold; 15 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Chapelwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Kevin Holt officiating. Burial will be in Red Lick Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
