NEW BOSTON, Texas—Norma Jean Old, 86, of New Boston died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2018, at a local hospice. Mrs. Old was born Sept. 3, 1932, in Maybank, Texas. She was retired from Red River Army Depot and a member of the Genealogy Society and Tapp Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marland Old. Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, David Old of New Boston and Gary and Nell Old of Texarkana; two grandchildren, Mary Katherine Old and Travis of Texarkana; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. today at Read Hill Cemetery with Tommy Earl Burton officiating. Arrangements are under direction of Bates Rolf Funeral Home.
