RONNIE McIVER

Ronald "Ronnie" Dale McIver, 70, of New Boston, Texas, died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2018, at a local hospice. Mr. McIver was born Sept. 22, 1948, in Hope, Ark. He was a retired finance clerk for the Postal Service, a member of First Baptist Church, New Boston, and an Army veteran. Survivors include his wife, Susan McIver of New Boston; one son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Kellye McIver of Nash, Texas; one daughter and son-in-law, Libby and Jonathan Fowler of Pittsburg, Texas; one stepdaughter, Angie Lewis of New Boston; one brother, Donald McIver of Arkansas; two sisters, Mary Roberts of Hensley, Ark., and Jan Brown of Foristell, Mo.; and six grandchildren. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are under direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home. No visitation is planned.
