De QUEEN, Ark.—Leonard Joe Woods, 76, of De Queen died Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2018, in Little Rock. Mr. Woods was born July 19, 1942, in Wynne-wood, Okla. He was an insurance agent with Shelter Insurance, De Queen, Director and President of Sevier County Little League, President of De Queen/Sevier County Chamber of Commerce and De Queen Lions Club and a member of De Queen Industrial Board and De Queen Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by one grandson, Layne Woods. Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Woods of De Queen; one son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Allison Woods of De Queen; two daughters and sons-in-law, Staci and Bobby Young and Shelly and Rocky Halter of De Queen; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. today at De Queen Church of Christ with Toney Stowers and James McRae officiating. Burial will be in Redmen Cemetery under direction of Chandler Funeral Home.
