ORA BROWN

Ora Lee Kendrick Brown, 83, of Texarkana, Ark., died Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2018, in a local hospital. Ms. Brown was born Nov. 6, 1934, in Atlanta, Ark. She was a retired nurse and a member of Walker Chapel CME Church. Survivors include one brother, Lovell Kendrick of Oakland, Fla.; one sister-in-law, Dorothy Kendrick of Texarkana; two brothers-in-law, Harlan Bradford Sr. of Sierra Vista, Ariz., and Josepheus Russ of Magnolia, Ark.; one uncle, Fulton Walker of Pine Bluff, Ark.; nine nieces and nephews; and a number of other relatives. Closed casket services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Walker Chapel CME Church with Elder Anthony L. Ware officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery under direction of Lyles Funeral Home. Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home and 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday at the church. Online registration is at lylesfuneralhomeinc.com.
