VIRGINIA SHARRER

ATLANTA, Texas—Virginia Sharrer, 93, of Queen City, Texas, died Thursday, Oct. 18, 2018, in a Tyler, Texas nursing home. Mrs. Sharrer was born May 3, 1925, in Pittsburg, Texas. She was retired from Thiokol, former PTA President for Queen City ISD and a member of First Baptist Church, Queen City. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Eugene Green and Floyd Sharrer; and one daughter, Roxanne Boyer. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Minika Green of Tyler, Texas; one daughter and son-in-law, Saundra and Dale Williams of Hattiesburg, Miss.; one brother, Jimmy Darby of Corpus Christi, Texas; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a number of otherrelatives. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, Queen City, with Jim Looby and Joe Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery under direction of Hanner Funeral Service.
