DeKALB, Texas—Patricia Lynn Pope, 68, of DeKalb died Saturday, Oct. 13, 2018, in Idabel, Okla. Ms. Pope was born Sept. 21, 1950, in Paris, Texas. She was a server in the restaurant industry and a Baptist. Survivors include one son, Joseph Pope and fiancee Victoria Granbery of New Boston, Texas; one sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Robert Stroman of DeKalb; one brother, Mark Pope of Texarkana; one grandchild, Hayden Pope; one niece and spouse, Paula and Leo Delgado; two nephews, Jeff Mitchell and Kris Hooper; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Bates Family Funeral Home with the Revs. Steve Minter and Terry Carson officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
