ELAINE KING

Elaine Frances King, 89, of Texarkana, Ark., died Thursday, Oct. 18, 2018, in a local nursing home. Mrs. King was born July 25, 1929, in Fort Worth, Texas. She was a retired registered nurse an a member of St. Edwards Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob King; and two sons, Steve King and John King. Survivors include two sons, Bobby King and Mark King; one daughter, Therese Thomas; one brother, Jim Burton; two sisters, Jude Hassler and Margaret Ann Brungardt; five grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Mass services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Edwards Catholic Church with the Rev. James West officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery under direction of East Funeral Home, Downtown.
