WILLIAM SCOTT
ATLANTA, Texas—William "Bill" Scott, 86, of Atlanta died Friday, Oct. 19, 2018, in a local nursing home.
Mr. Scott was born Oct. 3, 1932, in The Dalles, Ore. He was retired from Lone Star Concrete, a member of Church of Christ and American Legion and a Navy veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Erma Jean Walton Scott of Atlanta; one son, Michael Scott of Fairbanks, Alaska; two daughters, Rose Marie Fabre of Taggard, Ore., and Kathy Jo Dempster of Tualatin, Ore.; three sisters, Patricia Embrey of Los Angeles, Calif., Candace Scott of Depo Bay, Ore., and Margaret Bowen of Yam Hill, Ore.; four grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Walton Center Cemetery, McLeod, Texas, with Tom Hooten officiating. Burial will be under direction of Hanner Funeral Service.
