Judith Lynn Hicks

Judith Lynn "Judy" Hicks, age 73, of Texarkana, Arkansas, died Saturday, October 20, 2018 in a Houston, Texas hospital. Mrs. Hicks was born March 31, 1945 in Texarkana, Arkansas and lived in Texarkana most of her life. She was a retired assistant manager for K-Mart Department Store in Texarkana and a member of First United Methodist Church, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her husband, of forty-eight years, James Hicks. Judy was an avid Razorback and Dallas Cowboy fan and loved to call the Hogs. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law: David and Michelle Hicks of Texarkana, Arkansas, one daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Clay Roberts of Texarkana, Arkansas, one brother and sister-in-law, Tommy and Brenda Manning of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, one sister and brother-in-law, Sally and Johnny Compton of Texarkana, Texas, five grandchildren, Katelyn Hicks, Kelsey Hicks, Matthew Roberts, Michael Roberts, Christopher Roberts and a host of friends and other relatives. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas with Rev. Cranford Graves officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens.
