HOPE, Ark.—Homer Scott Jr., 69, of Hempstead County, Ark., died Thursday, Oct. 18, 2018, in Hempstead County. Mr. Scott was born Aug. 14, 1949, in Hempstead County. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Angerlice Cheatham. Survivors include two children, LaBoyd Scott and Mona Grant; six siblings, Bobbie Maxfield, JoAnn Phillips, Delois Block, William H. Scott, Ruel L. Scott and Wanda Harris; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Hicks Funeral Home. Burial will be in Westmoreland Cemetery, Fulton, Ark. Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
