CHARLES BOGAN

CLARKSVILLE, Texas—Charles Alvin Bogan, 81, of Annona, Texas, died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2018, in a local nursing home. Mr. Bogan was born Oct. 7, 1937, in Annona. He was formerly employed with Red River Army Depot, a member of Rock of Ages Baptist Church and an Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy; and one daughter, Gayla. Survivors include two sons, Charles Kendrich Bogan of Dallas and Gregory Allen Bogan of Annona; two daughters, Nova Charlene Banks and Sylvia Harris of Columbia, Ga.; two grandchildren, Kourtney Bogan and Bristian Doolittle of Clarksville; one great-grandchild, Kingston Bell of Clarksville; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Rock of Ages Baptist Church with T.L. Blevins officiating. Burial will be in Annona Cemetery under direction of Citizen Funeral Home.
