HOPE, Ark.—Joe Allen Shewbirt, 48, of Bodcaw, Ark., died Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2018, at his home. Mr. Shewbirt was born June 27, 1970, in Dallas. He was employed with Bruner Ivory and a Christian. Survivors include his wife, Paula; one son, Steven Shewbirt of Bodcaw; one daughter and son-in-law, Ashley Shewbirt and Aaron Dodd of Blytheville, Ark.; one brother, Brian Shewbirt of Bodcaw; six grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Union Cemetery, Bodcaw, with Joe Brown officiating. Burial will be under direction of Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home.
