PATSY FARRIS

ATLANTA, Texas—Patsy Lambert Farris, 82, of Red Hill, Texas, died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2018, at her home. Mrs. Farris was born Jan. 26, 1936, in Cass County, Texas. She was retired owner of Red Hill Grocery and a member of Linden Ladies Veterans of Foreign Wars and Linden United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, H.D. Farris. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Melanie Knight of Jefferson, Texas; two daughters and one son-in-law, Tonya and Terry Dorgan of Linden, Texas, and Thomesa Capps and fiancee Ronald Grider of Red Hill, Texas; one special friend, Bennie Glass of Atlanta; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. today at Linden United Methodist Church with Jim Barron, Keith Teffteller and the Rev. Michael Bedevian officiating. Burial will be in Linden Cemetery under direction of Hanner Funeral Service. Memorials may be made to Bethlehem Cemetery, Cedar Grove Cemetery or Linden Cemetery.
