ELIZABETH SATTERFIELD

NAPLES, Texas—Elizabeth Ann Godwin Collins Satterfield, 86, of Daingerfield, Texas, died Thursday, Oct. 25, 2018, at her home. Mrs. Satterfield was born Feb. 10, 1932, in Franklin, Ark. She was a retired clerk with the United States Postal Service. She was preceded in death by two sons, Gary Godwin and Stacy Lee Godwin; one daughter, Cecile Burks; and three grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, J.L. Satterfield of Daingerfield; three daughters, Karin Dailey of Texarkana, Texas, Connye Didway of Shreveport, La., and Tracey Harper of Hughes Springs, Texas; one son, Tim Godwin of Omaha, Texas; four stepsons, Jerry Satterfield and Jon Satterfield of Daingerfield, James Satterfield of Naples and Jeffery Satterfield of Laredo, Texas; one brother, Bo Collins of Omaha; one sister, Fay Roach of Phoenix; 16 grandchildren; eight stepgrandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; six stepgreat-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Omaha Cemetery with Edwin Brockway officiating. Burial will be under direction of Harrison Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
