Julia "Judy" White Carlyle, formerly of Texarkana died Saturday, Oct. 21, 2018 in Shreveport, La. Ms. Carlyle was born March, 7, 1937 in Texarkana, Ark. She was a retired social worker with the V.A. Hospital, Alexandria, La. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Rosemary and Ed Vanlangendonck of Minden, La.; one sister, Nancy White of Haughton, La.; three grandchildren, Matthew Vanlangendonck, Adam Vanlangendonck and Jacob Vanlangendonck; one niece, Susan Deahl of Haughton; and one special friend, Ronnie Collins of Haughton. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Memorial Gardens Cemetery under direction of East Funeral Home, Downtown. Visitation will be 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
