Pat Braley

NEW BOSTON, Texas—Pat Joe Braley, 80, of Simms, Texas, died Saturday, Oct. 27, 2018, in a local nursing home. Mr. Braley was born July 20, 1938, in Simms. He was a retired millwright with Day and Zimmerman, a member of Old Union Baptist Church and an Air Force veteran. Survivors include his wife, Lynda Braley of New Boston; one daughter, Kristi Kilgore of Texarkana; three sons and daughters-in-law, Kenny and Wanda Braley of DeKalb, Keith and Robin Braley of New Boston and Keavin and Jennifer Braley of Benton, Ark.; two brothers, David Braley and Wendell Braley; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Old Union Cemetery, Simms, with Shannon Crawford and Jerry Ford officiating. Burial will be in Old Union Cemetery under direction of Bates-Rolf Funeral Home. Visitation will be noon to 1 p.m. Monday at New Boston Church of Christ.
