MOSES KEMP

Moses L. Kemp, 88, of Texarkana, Ark., died Friday, Aug. 31, 2018, in a local hospital. Mr. Kemp was born Dec. 20, 1929, in Texarkana. He was a retired owner of Kemp Brothers Body Shop, a Baptist and an Army veteran. Survivors include his wife, Clara Ham Kemp of Texarkana; one daughter and son-in-law, Gayle and Leslie Renfro of Texarkana; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Michael Kemp of Texarkana and Douglas and Tammy Kemp of Cleveland, Okla.; three brothers and one sister-in-law, Wiley Kemp, Luke Kemp and William and Patsy Kemp of Texarkana; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 3 p.m. Sunday at East Funeral Home, Downtown, with the Rev. Jay Stine officiating. Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
