NAPLES, Texas—Roy Alton Griffin, 77, of Naples died Thursday, Aug. 30, 2018. Mr. Griffin was born Sept. 22, 1940, in Rocky Point community, Texas. He was past Master of Pine Tree Masonic Lodge 1396, Longview, and a member of Greggton First Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Linda Gail Griffin of Longview, Texas; one son, Bryan Avery Griffin of Waxahachie, Texas; one sister and brother-in-law, Linda Marie and Ken Fuchs of Austin; two sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Fanette and Jim Lindsey of Marietta, Texas, and Carol and Gene Hogue of Mesquite, Texas; two special friends, Philip Gustafson and Katy Gustafson; three nieces and nephews; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Rocky Point Congregational Methodist Church, Naples, with the Rev. James Cheatham officiating under direction of Harrison Funeral Home.
