Steve Dews

Steve Dews, 65, of Forney, Texas passed away August 29, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Chris Bigley officiating. Visitation will be before the service starting at 1:00 PM. Born September 6, 1952 in Camden Arkansas, Steve was the son of Lawrence Edward Dews and Hope Hodge. His survivors include his son Wade Dews and wife Brittany, daughter Coryanne Akers and husband Austin, mother Hope Hodge, brother Lynn Dews and wife Maila Dews and grandchildren Holden Akers and Lydia Akers. He was preceded in death by his father, sister LaVonne Aven, step-father Jay Hodge and step-mother Lynn Dews.
