Steve Baldwin, 83, of Linden, Texas, died Thursday, Aug. 30, 2018, at his home. Mr. Baldwin was born June 4, 1935, in Coleman, Texas. He was retired from Guardline, a Baptist and an Army veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bertha Baldwin; two sons, Curtis King and David Jonathan Baldwin; one grandson, Chris Gober; and one great-grandson, Daniel Weidebusch. Survivors include five sons, Richard Sims of Terrell, Texas, Jerry King of Kildare, Texas, Carl Baldwin of Bonham, Texas, James Baldwin of Alexandria, Va., and Steve Baldwin of Brownwood, Texas; two daughters, Charlene Jones of Linden, Texas, and Tammy Everett of Borger, Texas; three brothers, Utah Baldwin and Harold Baldwin of Brownwood and John Baldwin of Fort Worth, Texas; one sister, June Chambers of Gatesville, Texas; 19 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
