ATLANTA, Texas—William Roswell "Bill" Powell, 76, formerly of Atlanta died Friday, Aug. 31, 2018, at a Carrollton, Texas, hospital. Mr. Powell was born Nov. 9, 1941, in Atlanta. He was president of Powell/Southwest Agency Inc. and a Methodist. Survivors include his wife, Kathy Powell of Plano, Texas; one daughter and son-in-law, Christine Lynn and Greg Skinner of Dallas; one sister and brother-in-law, Jane Ross and Richard Agnew of San Antonio; one niece and spouse, Lisa and Xavier Larralde of San Antonio; and one nephew and spouse, Len Jr. and Jan Briley of San Antonio. Services will be noon Saturday at Queen City United Methodist Church with Don Lewis officiating. Burial will be in Queen City Cemetery under direction of Hanner Funeral Service.
