IDABEL, Okla.—Charles E. Watson, 89, of Oklahoma City died Thursday, Sept. 6, 2018, in Oklahoma City. Mr. Watson was born May 9, 1929, in Rattan, Okla. He was a commercial painter and a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his wife, Odetta Watson; and two sons, Charles E. Watson Jr. and James Mitchell Watson. Survivors include three sons, Gary Mitchell of Redding, Calif., and Wayne Mitchell and Tommy Mitchell of Burney, Calif.; two daughters and one son-in-law, Charlene and Ron Whisenhunt of Broken Bow, Okla., and Mary Sue Richards of Yukon, Okla.; one brother, O.J. Watson of Oklahoma City; two nephews, David Watson of Shawnee, Okla., and Haskell Watson of Oklahoma City; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 10 a.m. today at White Family Funeral Home with Greg Parnell officiating. Burial will be in Broken Bow Cemetery, Brokwn Bow. Online registration is at whitefamilyfh.com.
