JOHN HOOVER

HOPE, Ark.—John Louis "Dutch" Hoover, 83, of Bodcaw, Ark., died Friday, Sept. 7, 2018, in a Texarkana hospice. Mr. Hoover was born Jan. 3, 1935, in Bodcaw. He was a retired farm laborer and a member of Bodcaw Baptist Church. Survivors include one brother, Bill Hoover of Prescott, Ark.; one sister and brother-in-law, Willie Faye and Billy Clements of Bodcaw; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. today at Bodcaw Baptist Church with Ed Phillips and Jerry Evans officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery under direction of Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home.
