Mary Royal

Mary Beatrice Royal, 91, of Texarkana, Ark., died Thursday, Sept. 6, 2018, at her home. Mrs. Royal was born Sept. 10, 1926, in Oakhill, Okla. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Patricia Gail Royal; and one grandson, Tony Buchanan. Survivors include her husband, Morris Royal Sr., of Texarkana; one daughter, Barbara Buchanan of Texarkana; two sons and daughters-in-law, Morris Jr. and Charlotte Royal of Sherman, Texas, and Ira and Sue Royal of Texarkana; seven grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas, with the Rev. Bill Saxby officiating. Burial will be in Harmony Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. Relatives will be at the home of Ira and Sue Royal, 7105 Live Oak Drive, Texarkana, Ark.
