PRESCOTT, Ark.—Sue Ellen Hastings Nelson, 85, formerly of Laneburg, Ark., died Friday, Sept. 7, 2018. Mrs. Nelson was born Aug. 27, 1933, in Laneburg. She was a member of Morris Missionary Baptist Church, Caney community, Ark. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Connie Nelson Wells. Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Shelley and David Dickson, Doris and Alan Wright and Laurie and Bobbie Pilgreen; 19 grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Morris Baptist Church with James Ray Raines and Jim Cross officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hedge Cemetery, Gurdon, Ark., under direction of Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home. Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
