HOPE, Ark.—Lawrence Delaino "Larry" Kemp, 74, of Hope died Saturday, Sept. 1, 2018. The Rev. Kemp was born July 11, 1944, in Milwaukee, Wis. He was a carpenter and formerly employed by Hope Public Schools and Hudson Foods. He also was an associate minister with Lonoke Missionary Baptist Church and former minister with Garrett Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Nancy; six children, Marlon and Yvette of Milwaukee, Dalaino of Surprise, Ariz., Nikisha of Los Angeles, Calif., Ronald of McDonough, Ga. and Nicolas of Atlanta, Ga.; four brothers, Melvin, Kevin, Michael and Malcolm of Milwaukee; two sisters, Cora and Fathima of Milwaukee; 14 grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Lonoke Missionary Baptist Church under direction of McFadden & Hitchye Funeral Enterprises. Visitation will be from noon to 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and from 5 to 6 p.m. Friday at the church. Online registration is at mandhfuneral.com.
