NEW BOSTON, Texas—Dena Fae Kitchenmaster, 77, of DeKalb, Texas, died Sunday, Sept. 9, 2018, in a local hospital. Mrs. Kitchen-master was born May 1, 1941, in Matagorda, Texas. She was retired from Kansas Department of Transportation, a member of Gardenia Garden Club, DeKalb, and attended DeKalb Cowboy Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Les Kitchenmaster. Survivors include two daughters, Teresa Sikes of Lyons, Ga., and Lina Tomlin of DeKalb; one son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Brenda Kitchenmaster of Copperas Cove, Texas; two sisters, Sue Swanson of Jefferson, Texas, and Nina Rattie of Sherman, Texas; three grandchildren, Paul Durham and De'Anne Durham of Glennville, Ga., and James Sikes of Phoenix, Ariz.; one great-grandchild, William Durham of Glennville; and a number of other relatives. Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Bates-Rolf Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to a favorite animal shelter. Online registration is at batesrolffuneralhome.com.
