WILLIAM EDWARDS

William Dee "Chad" Edwards, 82, of Queen City, Texas, died Friday, Aug. 7, 2018, at his home. The Rev. Edwards was born July 26, 1936, in Domino, Texas. He was a minister and laborer, a member of St. Paul CME Church and an Air Force veteran. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Edwards of Texarkana; one son, Clarence Edwards of Dallas; four daughters, Carliea Williams of Dallas, Yeuvon Edwards of Albuquerque, N.M., Tsheunda Shellabarger of Silver Bay, Minn., and April Edwards of Texarkana; three brothers, Eddie Mayberry and Veodis Edwards of Texarkana and Lawrence Edwards of Domino, Texas; two sisters, Jean Oliver and Charlee Jamison of Domino; eight grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul CME Church, Domino, with the Rev. John Givens officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Ware Cemetery under direction of Haynes Mortuary.
