HOPE, Ark.—Anna Jewel "Cookie" Scott, 60, of Prescott, Ark., died Monday, Sept. 10, 2018. Ms. Scott was born Nov. 2, 1957, in Nevada County, Ark. She was a member of Munn's Chapel Baptist Church. Survivors include five children, LaShondra Johnson, Recardo Walker, Rodney Walker, Charlotte Callahan and Tonya Purifoy of Prescott; four sisters, Bobbie Broughton of Minneapolis and Margaret Stuart, Emma Scott and Latisa Gillard of Prescott; one brother, Walter Scott of California; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at The Spot, 223 E. Elm, Prescott. Burial will be in Deann Cemetery under direction of Hicks Funeral Home. Visitation will be 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
