Letha Dolores Overmyer Mudford, 82, of Fouke, Ark., died Friday, Sept. 14, 2018, at her home. Mrs. Mudford was born Jan. 13, 1936, in Fouke. She was a first grade teacher with Fouke Elementary School and a Sunday School teacher, treasurer and member of Rocky Mound Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Charles C. Mudford of Fouke; three daughters, Darlene Larey of Texarkana, Ark., and Diann Brown and Joann Woch of Fouke; two sons, Curtis Mudford of Fouke and Steven Mudford of Texarkana; two sisters, Tina Cooper of Jourdanton, Texas, and Rebecca Lewis of Hooks, Texas; one brother, Gary Overmyer of Texarkana; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Rocky Mound Baptist Church with the Revs. James Hensley and Josh Mudford officiating under direction of East Funeral Home, Downtown. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the church. Memorials may be made to Rocky Mound Baptist Church or Fouke Ex-students Association for a future scholarship in her name.
