Betty S Watkins

ATLANTA, Texas—Betty S. Watkins, 80, of Atlanta died Sunday, Sept. 16, 2018, at her home. Ms. Watkins was born Dec. 9, 1937, in Cass County, Texas. She was retired from Price Hardware, formerly employed at the State Theater and a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. Survivors include two sisters, Rebecca McAlexander of Texarkana, Texas, and Linda Baker of Atlanta; three nieces, Marlyse Stewart, Karen Duffer and Sherri Goynes; two nephews, Russell McAlexander and Jim Ed Baker; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. today at Laws Chapel Cemetery with George Goynes and Gene Parker officiating. Arrangments are under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service.
