IDABEL, Okla.—Karen Batson, 63, of Idabel died Saturday, Sept. 15, 2018, in Idabel. Mrs. Batson was born Nov. 12, 1954, in Greenville, S.C. She was a scrub tech at McCurtain Memorial Hospital. Survivors include her husband, Rick Batson of Idabel; two sons, Nick Batson and Chase Batson of Idabel; two brothers, Terry Doner and Dwane Doner of Broken Bow, Okla.; five grandchildren, Bradyn Batson, Blaze Batson and Ryland Batson of Idabel and Kayson Griffith and Kylan Batson of Broken Bow; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at White Family Funeral Home. Burial will be in Broken Bow Cemetery, Broken Bow. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
