De QUEEN, Ark.—William "Bill" Donald Cooper, 84, of Hugo, Okla., died Sunday, Sept. 16, 2018, in Hugo. Mr. Cooper was born July 29, 1934, in Kansas City, Mo. He was an accounting manager in the oil industry, a chief financial officer of Henderson Memorial Hospital, a CPA and a Fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association. Survivors include his wife, Joyce Cooper of Hugo, Okla.; six daughters, Christie Cooper of Norman, Okla., Cathryn Gilbert of Rogers, Ark., Margaret Cooper of Austin, Texas, Dena Veuleman of Texarkana, Ark., Sonja Meazell of Lindale, Texas, and Chrystal Cogburn of Fort Towson, Okla.; two sons, Larry Chewning of Troup, Texas, and Todd Chewning of Bullard, Texas; 14 grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the Pavilion in Campground Cemetery, Winthrop, Ark., with Junior Ochoa officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home.
