De QUEEN, Ark.—"John John" Thompson, 46, of Lockesburg, Ark., died Sunday, Sept. 16, 2018, in Midland, Texas. Mr. Thompson was born Dec. 9, 1971, in De Queen. He was a superintendent at Guardian Energy Services and a member of Old Union Missionary Baptist Church, Lockesburg. Survivors include two daughters, Katie Thompson and Ashlie Thompson of Blair, Neb.; his mother, Susie Winer Thompson of Lockesburg; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Jack and Janna Thompson of Big Spring, Texas, and Jimmy and Vanessa Thompson of Lockesburg; one sister and brother-in-law, Susie and Brent Carver of Lockesburg; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Old Union Missionary Baptist Church with Danny White, Donny Davis and Tate Keith officiating. Burial will be in Old Union Cemetery under direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Online registration is at wilkersonfuneralhomes.com.
